Hey everyone...

What are some good journals for EM docs to gain useful information from in a coherant, non-esoteric format?

Thanks.

yeah man my therapist is always telling me to write stuff in a journal instead of acting out again but im not feelin it.

Seriously...Annals of EM is good, and I like academic EM too. those are the two I get and I read them. The wilderness medicine journal is interesting, too although not as practical.

Err. I'm not sure what you mean by that--EM literature is pretty light stuff to begin with. And it's a lot more fun to read about how well/poorly a snake poison-sucking thing works on pig legs than some bench research in NEJM. 😀

Other journals in addition to those mentioned: Journal of EM is usually a lot of case reports... and I think there's a few summary publications out there like EM Reports or something--dude, they're almost as bad as credit care companies with sending me junk mail. 😛

Journal of EM is easily the most easy read of all EM journals. Very clinically relevent stuff.
