My mom's next door neighbour is in the CAP. He's some sort of retired rocket scientist. Always asking for help with his poor vegetable garden but get him talking about aviation or the space program and you can't shut him up :)

I think you should go for it Jet, it sounds like a blast.

And what's fun without a little danger involved eh?

Get a faster plane and invest in Chaffs and flares. :D

Speaking of faster planes, one of my homies recently got type rated in the Citation-3.....now instead of flight planning 240 knots in the King Air 200 he was flying, now he flight plans for 470 knots. :eek:

Said he flew from Lubbock to Austin last week and saw a ground speed of 530 knots. :eek:
