Jr college question

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Keep grades consistent through the JC and the senior university later on and you should be fine. Careful with JC counselors! They often aren't familiar with the needs of premeds/transfer students. Stay on top of transfer requirements (you probably wont need the AA/AS degree to transfer.)

There aren't any disadvantage to going to a JC. PM me if you have specific questions about getting to medschool as a CC transfer student.

Ok, you've posted this three times, once is definitely sufficient. 😀

I'll be taking Bio 121 this spring should I take bio 122? its not needed for my AS degree ... DO pre-med students take one sem of bio or two ??? 😕

hey, question. I will be starting Jr college in fall of 04. will med schools look at that in a negative way ? 😕

There are a lot of threads on this subject with lots of different opinions. Doing a search may help you get an idea of what other people have done.

Most schools say they don't care if you take classes at a four-year university or a community college, but they say that with a wink and a nudge. You should really try and take most/all of your courses at a four-year university.
