I have problems with remembering the jvp pulse no matter how many times i go through it. wondering how others do it. there is one mnemonic from dit that i put below and one that i made but for some reason its not sticking in my head. do you guys have any that are good or can expand on the ones below?
dit:
at carters xing vehicles yield (for ACXVY waves)
mine:
A Cardiac ventricle X Volume of atrial fluid = Your atrial flow
A = A wave - atrial contraction
Cardiac ventricle = C wave - ventricular contraction
X = X descent
Volume of atrial fluid = V wave - Atrial filling
Your atrial flow = Y wave - passive atrial flow
input would be greatly appreciated...
