I'm a non-trad intending to apply for this cycle but it looks like the general consensus (at least, according to sdn) is that your chances significantly drop if you apply after June. I don't have a lot of money to pay for apps in one go, but I can at least get the main application for a few schools in by next week. Basically, am I screwed or being overly neurotic about chances?

You are past the "early" window and into the "normal" window for applying. You are not yet close to the "late" window. Get moving!

For optimal chances
-You want to be complete by early Sept (secondaries done)
-Therefore you want to be verfied and primary apps transmitted to schools by August 1st
-therefore you want to have your primary submitted by early July

So you at the edge of being late and then adding schools later will make that worse.
You need to get a highly polished AMCAS in early (june). Yours is neither going to be in June, nor is it highly polished as you are still working on it.
