Wow, there has been an underwhelming amount of attention to the upcoming June 27th release. What happened to all my fellow May 25th MCATers?

Anyways, 6 days to go!

You will not receive an email, they just appear when you log in to THx..Best bet is just keep checking here, you will know when they are up 🙂 As for the high scores, it is simply biased reporting..Those who score <28 rarely post, whereas those who score >30 almost always post.

The May 16th scores were released around 4 or 4:30 EST. The May 11th scrores were delayed a day and came out around late morning or early afternoon.

I'm going to a club with my friends to blow off some steam. I figure I'm not going to be able to sleep anyway, so I might as well have fun while I'm up 😉

The scores should be up by the time I get home (3am my time, 5pm your time).

Just to give more hope and clarification...

The mean score for ALL 2006 MCATs as reported on the AAMC website at http://www.aamc.org/students/mcat/examineedata/combined06.pdf was 25.1, not 24.😀

Due to the curve, the average can be different than 24...

One might also suggest that the averages for people on this forum are slightly higher. There's a lot of information here, and I doubt many who read it take the MCAT completely unprepared, as many of my classmates seem to. Even so, I still completely agree that 90% or more of the perceived high average is from people only posting results they like.

It's weird...I actually don't think I can remember any problems from the exam...I keep thinking I've remembered one and then realizing it was from a practice test. Except for the pig and mouse pigmentation passage. That seems to be the only one, however.

yeah, i dont even think i could remember the passages as i was walking out of the test center... all a blur. just had a bad feeling about the PS, but from what i´ve been reading, a lot of people felt that way.. so..... gooooo curve!

OK, so i took the May 25th test and am happy with my score (10 VR, 11 P, 12 B) but I got an M for the writing sample. I really don't understand how my essays could have been so bad. I had solid intro's, counterexamples, and closing statements. My essays were both very unified and I was very happy with that part of the test. I took the Kaplan course and they pretty much gave us a formula for writing these. I am thinking about having them rescore my essays. Anyway, is the M on the writing section going to hurt me?
