SDN protip: if you got your application in a little bit late, check the individual school application threads for links to secondaries. Fill them out before the schools even get your info and they'll be super impressed with how proactive you are.

Is it bad to pre-write secondaries? I am under the impression that it is a good thing.

He means people who pre-write and submit on the school's website BEFORE the school has even invited them to do so.

Pre writing is fine. Apparently there have been instances of people getting copies of or links to the secondary apps from SDN and submitting them before the school even sent it to the student.

Okay just to make sure Jonnythan I believe I'll be verified around August and I am planning on pre-writing my secondaries throughout July. Say a school sends me a secondary on 8/14 should I submit my secondary on 8/14 since I will (hopefully) have it written? Or should I wait a few days?

I'd personally wait a day or two but there's probably no justification for that.

As soon as you receive a secondary, you may submit your responses. Be sure to check for changes in the prompts!
