June 30 MCAT Debrief

Hey y'all,

Just took the 6/30 exam today. Figured I'd make a post for all of us to praise each other's laurels and hear out each other's grievances.

For me personally...

C/P: I thought it was pretty fair. I usually find myself scrambling the last 2-3 minutes but I stayed calm and got through it. I felt it was slightly easier than NS FL's 4 and 5.

CARS: Usually CARS is my lowest but I thought this was actually very straightforward; 1 or 2 odd questions that seemed to go well beyond scope, but other than that, it seemed great.

Bio: Loved it; plain and simple. Passages gave you a lot of great info without overkill.

Psych: ...wtf AAMC. Almost nothing like what I've seen from any materials; stand-alone questions were, largely, off the wall. Passages were pretty dense.



Anywho, I feel like I met or surpassed my goal; I guess we'll find out in 30 days! Cheers, hope everyone did well.

Somehow I felt great about psych. I just felt like it was CARS only I felt better about it than the actual cars lol.

C/P... had to pee like 5 seconds in. I was like are you kidding me? Nerves made it difficult for me first ten to fifteen minutes but I managed to finish on time. Didn't feel terrible but who the hell knows

B/B felt straight forward

Overall happy that I didn't have a mental breakdown or run out of time on any of the sections. Since it's a scaled exam, that's really the only valuable take away I think. Everything else is a toss up and no amount of surmising will give us an answer in the next month... sigh :/
