Anyone read it? I'm thinking about buying it, but I haven't had a dream about it yet. 😀

I have pre-ordered through Books a Million. My understanding is that the first printing sold out prior to the publication date. I think I will get mine in early December. I am not happy about it. I have seen excerpts and is looks as if it was be an extraordinary work. The reviews of it and the podcasts I ahve heard by people who have seen and read advance copies of the book say it is breathtaking.

we got it and it's so much bigger than I expected. The size of the top of a small table. Make room!

Oh thats great you have it. Where did you order it from?? Amazon will have it in stock in December and Books a Million has said my order is being "processed" for the past 3 weeks!

I ordered from Amazon in early September and received my copy late October. The price was ~$95 plus free shipping. The book is, just rgerwin notes, huge and heavy. The pictures are marvelous! While the translation is no doubt meticulous, I do wish I read German. I am trying to not treat it as I usually treat books (and everything else) in case the value of a first printing increases...

ha. I'm taking a Jung theory class next term and I had to order it. Haven't started reading it yet!
