just checking, science lab classes count towards sGPA right?

im taking plant biotech lab and microbiology lab next quarter
(just the labs each 4 units)

these will count towards sGPA right? in my guess yes, but just checking

if your schools provides you with lab grades then yes. most labs are usually pass fail or 0 credits.
 
I wish our lab grades were P/F... The 1-credit labs are way more work than the 3-credit lectures.

dont they just factor in lab as a % of the lecture class? so either way you need to do work.

yeah that was what i thought so, but im taking these as my restricted electives
and only labs and each lab is like 3~4 units.
i guess it is separate class from the lecture class
and i do not even see class for biotechnology lab

Nope, every lab at my school is a separate 1 or 2 credit course, with completely separate grades from their corresponding 3-credit lecture course.
 
Def!

Diff schools do things differently. Where I go, only Physics I and II have combined lab, but they aren’t separate credits. The other labs are completely separate classes and some with short lecture components to discuss lab techniques.
