In another thread, I was wondering about my english requirements. I ended up calling the schools I applied to to ask. This morning I got a call on my cell phone from an Unknown number. When my wife calls me from upstairs from the land line, it says the same thing because of the caller-id blocker. Assuming it was her, I picked up the phone and said "mmmmyes?" The voice on the other end identified herself as calling from UNMC, returning my call! I was slightly embarrassed, but was happy to hear that my english classes will fulfill the requirements.

That's it. The story. Thanks for reading.

be glad that was all you said 😛 so next time you will be more guarded when your cell phone rings. 😀

Can I just say I find it hilarious that your wife calls you on the phone when you are downstairs...I'm sure that that's probably not what happened, it just sounds that way and I think it's funny.

In our house, since we all have cingular, we use our cellphones as walkie-talkies... no one ever wants to leave their room. hehe.

Actually, that is what happens most every day. When I'm in the office, I can't hear much of what goes on upstairs, so she calls my cell from the land line. I prefer that to being shouted at from upstairs. Sometimes I leave the baby monitor on so I can hear what's going on so she neither has to shout nor call me on the phone.
