anyone in this boat? 3 interviews and just sitting, waiting, wishing.....

Seems hopeless at this point. A family friend who goes to Temple told me they have reached MAX deposits and are waiting to see if students take out their deposits. Does anyone know if this is actually true?
On the other hand, BU and MWU are just ignoring me.

Have you called BU? I'm waiting too, and it is killing me!!! I emailed my interviewer, but she checked with admissions and they said that NO decision has been made on my application. I'm starting to loose hope. Someone said that they're waiting to see how many people are going to attend that have already been accepted. Supposedly this period is some time around now...

Make sure you keep in touch and show interest in the schools you interviewed at. You could give a friendly phone call or email every few weeks just to check on things. Maybe they are awaiting some supplemental materials?

I applied and interviewed at MWU back in 2007 and I did not hear anything from them up into February - no email, no letter, no phone call, nothing. Finally, I got tired of waiting and I called them up. The lady looked up my name and was all "Oh, sorry, you have been denied admissions." I asked why they did not contact me but she could not give me a solid answer. Needless to say, I will not be applying to MWU in June!!

I'd give them a call and hope for the best.

You are rejected. I'm being blunt because I was in the same boat with BU. Believe me, I know what it feels to wait so long after interviewing and having heard absolutely nothing. Calling admissions time after time I got the same "still under review, no decision made" message, untill last week, 3 months after my interview, I got an email telling me it was done. There's no spot this year for me.

You try to keep the hope alive because that's human nature and its a good thing to have inside you, however, in this admissions process, being sentimental rather than practical will only get you screwed.

I hated roundabout answers from some folks on SDN and sometimes, purely false advice based entirely on speculation, often referring to their 'friends' who got in 5 days before classes started. Please, do not waste any more time trying to find answers to your acceptance that will never come this cycle.

Personally, I thank boston u for not tarrying their notification even a minute further. It fueled my dedication to succeed with a fervor I have not ever witnessed in my life. Start now, be at the top of their lists. Take this advice and you will be.

hmm... don't give up hope! perhaps unrelated to temple 🙂love🙂 or bu/mwu, i went to a usc interview and they told us that EVERY YEAR they'll notify a student the day before class starts about an available spot and that person will run/fly/jump/swim and make it to campus by the next day. so it really isn't over til the fat lady sings... or rather til the first day of class.

I still can't believe you didn't get into Ohio State. I must attribute it to your late application, OSU has the earliest deadline (Sept 19th or something) for applications, and they have rolling admissions and interview invites. If you don't get in this year I think OSU is a shoe in for, esp if you raise your GPA even a little. Nothing wrong with that (it mirrors what I did!), you can have a year off and make some moolah

I am in the exact same situation as you. Midwestern completely ignore me and i think i did well on that interview. The school make me wait so long that i am now rather being realistic and be ready for the next cycle.

yea, i know how you feel dentgirl, I had 2 interviews, got waitlisted at one, and a reject after almost 2 months wait. I was starting to prepare for the next cycle then got an interview invitation 5 days ago, it's at ASDOH on feb 24

If you are really set on Temple why not take a look at their post-bacc program? Guarantees admission for the following year.

Almost all of my interviewers said that theres a lot of movement right before d school starts, so even if you think its over for sure, the last big wave of acceptances come from the days before school. They all told me that people get accepted last second to a better school, or people drop out right before for many reasons, or that people dont withdraw from all the schools till last day. So dont lose hope!
