Just need a 496 (podiatry)

applying to podiatry. Kind of in a time crunch. Very specific situation.

Simply need to know... Can a 496 be achieved by just gojng through EK and doing some practice passages?

Don't want to seem like I don't respect the test but a 496 shouldn't be all that hard should it?

Highly specific to the individual. Hard to say without you taking an exam. Lots of people score this before studying.

Two ways to look at it.

Most people score well above a 496, something like 63% of tests administered. I assume this is the way you're looking at it.

Many tests administered are still scored below a 496 though, something like 34,500 per year. Since there were almost 96,000 MCATs administered per year from 2012 thru 2014 and a 496 falls at the 37% range.

This test really sucks. Perhaps not in difficulty, but in breadth.

Score a 500 or above and you'll have your pick of pod schools.
