I submitted on the 1st, and in it I said I completed a specific marathon in a hobby section for running. The issue is that my friend signed me up for it so it's under his name not mine. So really there's no record of me doing so, and if anyone googles it, I won't be there. Should I call the AAMC? I'm not verified yet.... This is really stressing me out, please help.

Even if they did look into (unlikely), you would have the opportunity to explain what happened. Your friend could back you up, and if there are any pictures you would be fine.

Anyone who runs knows this is not uncommon anyways.

Marathon running is not unique or impressive enough that anyone would care to look you up unless you claimed to have run under 2:15 or something. Don't sweat it.

Take four of these. This is a new low. even for pre-MD. If you're trolling, bravo.

If AMCAS felt schools would have an interest in verifying hobbies, they would have required a Contact for the activity. And they didn't.
