Hi all,

Was ready to submit today when I was triple-checking everything and reading last-minute tips, and it totally just hit me that I took a writing class the summer after 8th grade at a local college on a CTY scholarship. I did get an A in the class, so the grade isn't a concern, but I really wanted to submit in the first week, and now I feel like I have to go track down this transcript. I literally haven't thought about this class since I took it. Is it really that important to get the transcript?

Yes. All post secondary grades need to be reported. You’re fine if you submit a couple weeks later, won’t affect you.

Is this important because it was taken at a CC? It's normally that you only count everything after HS, but since this was a class taken at a CC it has to be reported, right? Sort of like HS Dual enrollment?

Wait a sec, I was under the impression you can submit without sending in transcripts and those aren't necessary til like November.

You can submit without your transcripts, but your app can’t be verified (and submitted to schools) without them. I think you’re thinking of submitting your official transcripts to the school you matriculate to. It is later, but it’s not November of this year or next
