Thats it its official DO's are everywhere, I love it.
I went with my sister today to the oncologists office for her chemo and the room filled up pretty quickly. She must of told them last time that im trying to go to med school. Well the head nurse grabbed me, threw a white coat on me and i shadowed the doctor for 5 hours. I asked him about his DO degree and he said he graduated in the first class at UMDNJ-SOM.
It was truely a great experience. Obviously being an oncologist your not going to be doing OMM but i think just his overall attitude is what being a DO is all about. Sorry for just rambling on, I just got back an hour ago and thought id share.
