I have real mcat on 8/23 and have been studying for around a month and a half and I took a test today...I heard aamc3 is one of the easiest.

got 34 with 13ps 14bs but 7vr...
Even on practice, this was the worst I could ever get on verbal..Maybe i'm not used to aamc passages? and I also thought that science questions are more precise, straight and easier but obviously I have to still work on it..

So what should I do to improve? I have around 45 days now and time is ticking and not sure what would be the best to maximize my score at this point..

advice please for verbal and science

What verbal prep were you doing in the 1.5 months of studying you've finished? I highly recommend EK101 Verbal if you haven't been through that already. TPRH Verbal Workbook was also great if you can manage to get one.
And if you don't mind, I've got a question for you. I'll be done with my content review in a few days now and I'll talk AAMC3 right afterward. How did the AAMC passages stand up to TBR passages? (If you didn't use TBR then what material did you use?)

I just took AAMC 3 this last wknd. I got 12/13/10. For verbal I've been using EK 101, I thought it was harder by a noticeable amount than the passages on AAMC 3 (which, unfortunately, is supposedly too easy compared to the real thing nowadays).

I thought the passages were significantly easier than the BR ones, especially the bio.

Also, I thought EK had some good tips for verbal, surprisingly. Two things I especially liked was that it says to go in order, since you waste time skipping around. Also it says after finishing each passage, you should take a short five second break to mentally prepare yourself for the next passage. I think that tip has helped me a lot in focusing as much as possible during the entire 60 minute period.
