My step 1 is in 24 days and my "intense studying" from now on will be only FA + BRS Path. and I'm doing UW questions. I did Kaplan Qbank and 4vol Kaplan review books 3 months ago, but honestly I don't recall too much from those at this point..

Do you think it's a good idea to just focus on and try to memorize FA cover to cover in the remaining time? The more UW q's I do, it seems like *everything* is in FA.

I'm at 50-60% on UW (60% completed).. I will be doing both UW sim's, 2-3 NBME practice exams and then it's the real thing.

Any input appreciated!

It's hard to say. If you can really understand everything from FA - meaning, truly understand every concept that is mentioned and all of the detail around it, then you're golden. But that is really hard to judge. I would add BRS Phys, and make BRS Path and BRS Phys your meat and potatoes until the exam. Use FA as your guide, and BRS Path and Phys to fill in any missing details. FA, BRS Path, BRS Phys and USMLE World were all I used, and I took 3 weeks to study total. It might not work for everyone, but it's not a crazy strategy. 🙂

has FA been working for you? Some students really get a lot out of FA while others (like myself) had difficulty using it. I found UW do be a great resource, and if you are going to limit your resources, make sure you get the most out of each one. Go through each question and explanation, and you will pick up a lot of good info. Good luck!
