hey y'all

i have been shadowing a dentist and eveything has been great. I observed him for two days and saw him performing porceling veneers, driling, filling and capping, and also an implant procedure. He seems to be very eager answering my questions about what he was doing during some of his procedures. After the hours we would talked about his expericen in dental school, the extra certificates he recieved after dental school, how he managed time, etc. He also made sure i was confortable in his office since i started to fidget after standin up for 5 hours. He was even nice enough allowing me to come anytime to see him practicing on his patients and his staff has also been very friendly to me. I plan to continue oberse with this doctor and i would like to give something in return as a thanks for allowing me to go over to observe him since i called like 10 dentists and only he called back...so yeah...

Do y'all know any ideas to thank ur dentists for allowing y'all to shadow them besides the words "thank you"? I thought maybe i would get the office a basket of goodies?

Good idea with the goodie basket. I bought a personalized cookie basket from cookies by design. I thought it was cool because the cookies were shaped and frosted like: floss, toothbrush, teeth, and of course a dentist.

Thanks for the suggestion! I just called and ordered a basket for my dentist's office. The lady I spoke with said that it's an older basket and is not in the catalog anymore (used to be A51), but they can still make it. I got a 5 cookie basket so that everyone in the office could have one. With delivery it was $48.82, which is kindof expensive, but for everything they have done for me I feel like I should do more.
