halesvet -- There were some behavioral questions in my interview (what was a time where you had to make an ethical decision/what did you do) but I did not have any medical knowledge questions asked of me -- my committee seemed more concerned with if I knew current events and in assessing my maturity levels. I was asked about some of my previous jobs where I had interviewed applicants, my current job, happenings in the world market which involved veterinary medicine...
BUT -- I'm an agricultural economics major, therefore I probably had a different interview than someone with a "hard" science major would have had.
They really tailored it to me and didn't ask a whole lot of stock-type questions, so review your application so you aren't surprised.
Skillet9886 -- Rock-a-belly is AMAZING and I highly recommend it as well. It can be a bit pricey, but it is really good food. Their German potato salad is some of the best I've ever had.
DogLover824 -- 30 minutes should be enough time -- I got there ~30 minutes beforehand and ended up sitting around for about 15 minutes before my interview, just fiddling with my car keys. Of course, OOS interviews might be a bit more involved than IS interviews, but we just took pictures, had an opportunity to look at the tablet computers for the class of 2013, and were offered cookies and soda.
About 5 minutes before our interview time some students from the class of 2012 took us to where we needed to be for our interviews and we waited some more until one of the interviewers came and got us. (Hope you get the 4th floor -- the chairs in the library are really, really comfy.)
If you want to get there 35 minutes early, I think you'll be okay -- but any earlier and nerves might start to set in beforehand and hinder your performance in the interview.
Good luck to everyone interviewing this month!!! Hopefully there are bunches of letters with 'Congratulations!' sent out in February!
