kaplan course for part 1

Hi,
I am planning to take the NBDE-1 (cbt) and was wondering if anyone has enrolled in the Kaplan 3 month course .Is it worth the money or would it suffice to buy the kaplan review book only?kindly help!

Did you mean Qbank? I took it before I took the July,04 test, I think it helped me a little bit. It made me understand more, but took a lot of time. It's pretty much like USME. 😴 I studied from the Kaplan review book too. It has a lot of details, but it worked for me who graduated in 1989. It seemed like I had to start from zero. 🙁 The old papers were very useful. Unfortunately I hadn't known about the decks until the very last day before I took the test. Anyway I passed it and got a satisfying result.

Kaplan Q-Bank is okay, a lot of the questions are WAY too detailed and seem to be oriented to the USMLE, not the NBDE.

The Kaplan review book is alright (I have one available!) if it is studied early. There was too much information for me to just skim it or cram it, and it doesn't have an index so looking up finer points can be overwhelming. If used for several months then I think it is a solid study aid.

On the other hand review notes is very popular among our community.
