Kaplan Course Yes or No?

I'm taking my OAT exam this summer (end of June) and I'm going to start studying in the beginning of May.
I've been considering taking the Kaplan OAT Anywhere online course (the $1400)... I'm pretty hesitant paying that much money for it if I'm not sure whether it's worth it or not... If anyone has or hasn't taken the course, can you please tell me your experience and how else you studied for the exam?

I'm a pretty well motivated student that has done well in the science courses so far so do you think that if I just had the Kaplan Book (the one from the course that I would buy from someone or the one off amazon), I'd be set? What's the pros and cons about the book and about the course?

I didn't take Kaplan, since I couldn't really see myself putting that much money either! I'm using OAT destroyer, OAT Achiever, and the Kaplan book.

If you took all the sciences recently you should be alright with some self-study. I took Bio years ago before I transferred to a uni so it's hard re-learning everything!

I did do the Kaplan practice test and that helps. I find that over time I don't remember the practice test questions so I can take it again for some practice (They use the exact same questions for their free practice tests)

With the $55 application fees on Optomcas and the $60-80 supplemental fees plus $300 bucks for the OAT, that's a lot of money down the drain!

Kaplan is a waste of money. I did find the mcat bio kaplan book helpful though. So look into that. But the OAT destroyer books were right on what you need to know to do well.

Don't waste your money. I didn't do kaplan and did well. Pay for chad for one months. Watch all videos, take notes, do the quiz, mark you bad ones and do again after everything. Leave about 2 weeks for practice exams. I did one a day, ada, kaplan, cracking, do some DAT ones they are similar.

i agree. Chad quizzes and chad's explanations to the quizzes are awesome.

if you decide to do kaplan, skip the lectures and just focus on the online questions banks. the bio, gen chem and orgo question banks are great. physics q difficulty is a little overkill.

I agree, online questions were definitely helpful.

Hi guys, i will be taking my OAT on June 29th, Any advice on it? I'm stressing about it so much. I need to get a 300 or above. HELP!
