While navigating thru' Kaplan material - Is it a better idea to
1. read the material of the system before watching the DVD?
( eg: Read Heart mechanics material before running the DVD of the same) or
2. vice versa or
3. Just choose to do one of them .

Most of the times its a repeat. Could it be a personal choice otherwise- Audiovisual vs visual. Some times I feel stuck in deciding which one to start with! Pl share your experiences.

I would def. watch the dvds first and depending on your background probably go ahead and read the notes!
the biochem dvds, Im half-way through now, are great! If you go through those and just refer to the tables and diagrams from the notes, which are presented in the videos, you will be fine, no need to read every bit of the notes.
IM not going to read the notes after having watched the videos, you will see what I mean, just start somewhere.

I started with Physiology. I am only paranoid I guess if I didn't read the material I'm missing some thing not covered in lectures! The review questions with explanation are good and almost cover more than required. I am doing after a big gap from my med school. But I seem to be catching up ok.

What do you think of the path videos? So far I'm trying to get used to them... but overall not finding a lot of correlations between them and Robbins and my class. What have your experiences been?

I actually really like the Path videos. It doesn't exactly follow Robbins but its still a really good review.
