Hi everyone
I tried searching for this but couldnt find much...i've heard that some of the kaplan lecture notes books are better than others but i cant remember which. Does anyone know?
I am not using them as my main study tool but was wondering which would be better sources if i needed to supplement...
Thanks!

Biochem, Behavioral, and pharm are known to be good.
Path is known to be bad. Kaplan anataomy, for most, is too drawn out, and is replaced by HY gross/neuro.

Micro and phys are up for grabs--your personal preference. Some like MMRS and BRS phys better.

Is it just me, or is Kaplan Behavioral WAY too detailed? Like in the section on research bias, they have way more biases than BRS Behavioral (Berkman's bias, Hawthorne effect, Pygmalion effect, etc).

I like the Pharm., Path., and Biochem. books. The BRS Phys. book is better than the Kaplan. I agree with the other posters about Anatomy, not very helpful/overkill.

But I don't take StepI til this year so we'll see!

Hope that helps!

Thay are all pretty good IMO except Anatomy and Path but HY Anatomy and BRS Path are there to pick up the slack.

I thought the Biochem book was great. The Behavior book is decent but BRS is better in my opinion. Micro sucked -- use MMRS and Lange for Immuno. Path and Pharm both sucked -- use BRS and FA respectively. Physio wasn;t good -- use BRS. Anatomy isn;t good except the embryology section and the brief histology section, both of which I thought were excellent - for gross and neuro use the HY books.

Kaplan Biochem is a must read! Tons of molecular bio stuff, which was heavily tested the year I took my exam.(Last June)
