I have the Kaplan MCAT 45 book which is supposedly filled with all killer passages thats good practice.

Is the book worth attemping for practice? Are the passages realistic of the MCAT? Anyone with experience care to comment?

Thanks

um actually...i have the book. I'm not "looking" for passages. All I was asking for were for peoples' opinions on the kaplan book.

No.... If you want good passages, do a search. Seriously.

Like most of Kaplan's materials, that book has a lot to be desired. Nevertheless, if you have it, you may as well use it. I definitely would not make it your primary sources of practice passages, however.

Also, just to note, this is a question people usually ask prior to purchasing a product; hence my assumption you were considering purchasing it. We have that book in our premed library. While it is better than, say, Barron's (which we also have), it is not exactly one I suggest to our premedical students. It's simply not the best we have.
