Has anyone in Colorado (specifically Denver) taken either a Kaplan course or a Princeton Review course? I would love to hear peoples' opinions on either of these, especially if you liked/disliked your instructor(s). I really want to take a classroom-type review course. Is one of these better than the other? I am getting the feeling that it just depends on if your teacher is a good one...
Thanks! 🙂

Also, it looks like the same classroom course offered by Princeton is 105 classroom hours, while the Kaplan course is only 54 hours..? (Same price). The Princeton website is not very good. It does not really describe the course; does anyone know if you get only one instructor, or multiple?
Thanks again!

for the record, the books you get with the TPR class are better then the ones you get with kaplan; something to consider. The TPR science workbook is great.

Hi there,

I just wanted to let you know that each MCAT instructor at The Princeton Review is only allowed to teach one MCAT subject. Therefore, you have five MCAT areas, and five different world-class MCAT teachers!

Since there haven't been any responses yet. You might want to call up the local centers for both and see if you can sit in on a class. That way you'll get a better idea about the teacher quality in your area. You could also try asking your pre-med adviser if they've heard anything.

Waste of your time and money if you ask me. I took TBR and sat in on TPRH classes. DON'T BOTHER.
Get the following books
-TPRH verbal and hyperlearning
-TBR full set
-EK 101 and 1001 books (if u want the ek set too)
supplement/watch these before reading
-Chads g chem
-Chads o chem videos
-wikipremed's physics videos (if they're too slow you can buy a disk from John and you can watch them at 2x or 1.5x the speed with VLC)
-wikipremed flashcards if you're weak on physics

Watch the videos first and follow SN2's schedule accordingly.

Money isn't even the issue it's a matter of time. From my own personal experience these classes are way too slow or way too fast. You need to set your own pace and that's what the videos from the two sites help you do. I really wish someone had told me this before I wasted money and most importantly my TIME bothering with those classes.

But then again people are different if you TRULY truly feel a class will help you then is recommend taking TPRH over Kaplan their hyperlearning books are worth it.

Good luck!
