What I'd be after is some focused questions on topics that I have forgotten about. Is Q-Bank good for topical focus? Any opinions?

I personally thought that they were horrible.

It was good for studying specific topics that you needed help on. Overall though, it was pretty useless. I used it very sparingly.

I used it when I finished everything else Kaplan had. I also used it at the end to help my PS timing get faster. I didn't like it because I trained to take a pen and paper exam, not an online exam.

I don't know if it would help for the CBT or not. I'd see if there are some Kaplan people on here who teach to the CBT. I was very frustrated sometimes because I took the written exam in April, so the Kaplan methods of problem-solving that I learned this spring generally involved writing on the page. Obviously, you can't really write on the Qbank pages. On the OTHER hand... I liked the customization of it if you need specific problems to practice on.

I really thought that it was excellent for the last couple of weeks before the exam to get a handle on your question strategies. I just wish that I would have used it throughout.

You better get used to the QBANK because it is what you will be using when studying for the steps.
