Kaplan Reading Comprehension

I was wondering how the Kaplan RC in the blue book(I have 2007-2008) compares to the actual DAT in terms of difficulty?? Are the actual passages that long??

I was wondering how the Kaplan RC in the blue book(I have 2007-2008) compares to the actual DAT in terms of difficulty?? Are the actual passages that long??

ohh man... lol.. where do i start... This is how my experience went. I didnt like kaplans strat on making a road map, so i just read questions and quickly searched the passages and answered the questions. on all the practice material, top score, achiever, kaplan, i did the same thing and scored 19-20's. However on the real thing, this method wouldnt work because half of the questions were based on authors tone, or describe this long passage in one word, and adding a sentence here would change this paragraph in what way, and so on.. these kind of questions killed me and so i bombed this section. I advise you to study kaplan, but also find other sources as well that require answering questions other than straight up facts that you can pick out of a paragraph.

yeah i dont think kaplans compares b/c i got a 27 on their practice test..i doubt ill get a 27 on the real thing since everyone says that tthe real one is more subjective
