I just put the following set up for sale on ebay. It is a few years old but the Kaplan books don't change too much from what I've heard. Starting at $19.95, it would make a great buy if you wanted to have the Kaplan material to look up some stuff that isn't covered in other books but don't want to shell out a lot of cash for the most recent Kaplan books.

This is the 2002 edition of Kaplan's USMLE Step 1 Review materials. It includes both books in the set, a General Principles (973 pages) and an Organ Systems (1292 pages) book. They have been highlighted in pale yellow for the first couple of chapters in the general book and about the first 25% of the organ systems book. Otherwise the books are in good shape!
This would be an affordable way to obtain high-quality materials for your Step 1 preparation. There are several more recent editions on ebay, but the Kaplan books change very little from year to year. Alternatively, these books would make a nice reference to use to supplement the weaker areas that you are covering with other sources (which is what I used them for). Either way, you are getting a steal!
