Kaplan verbal vs. EK verbal

I took the verbal for FL 6 today and I thought the passages were rather lengthy and boring. Overall, I thought the readings were a bit more difficult than EK passages that talks about ropes, suntanning, and pottytraining. I don't know how I did on the FL 6 b/c I don't have the answer keys. If one of you guys do, please pm me or reply...
I've been consistently getting 8s on all my EK verbals...it's frustrating b/c I feel like I've stalemated. Some people think the EK verbal reasonsing are more difficult than Kaplan, but after that test I'm not so sure.

yeah i thought kaplan verbal 6 was a lot harder than other kaplan's i've taken.

i'm thinking this is a stamina thing or a timing issue, but it seems like almost every time, around the 3rd to last passage or so i get several wrong, like most of the problems i get wrong all come from one passage towards the end, usually a combination of losing focus and worrying about finishing on time. hate that.
