Did you use Kaplan USMLE videos during your pre-clinical years?

How helpful were these videos and where should I get them?

Are there any other video series that you would recommend for pre-clinical years? ie Dr.Najeeb

Pathoma I felt was above and beyond better...second year at least. I enjoyed Fishers portion of the Kaplan and went through some of the bchem ones before step. Gave up on it fairly early (except pathoma). Probably can get through more faster just reading and doing practice questions.

If there is a topic that is covered by both Pathoma and Kaplan, I tend to prefer Pathoma. However, there are some topics covered by Kaplan that are not covered by Pathoma and I think the Kaplan videos do a pretty good job on these topics.

I thought pathoma only covered pathology. Is that correct?

Thanks! Where do you recommend I get the videos?

Google it. You can pay for them or download them for free, depending on how you feel about that sort of thing.

If you haven't started class, someone who is a second year will have these in a external drive I guarantee it.

Cool! I'll refrain from buying them until I consult the upperclassmen.

If anyone has managed to track these videos down and is willing to help please message me. I can't seem to get anything besides the Anatomy and Biochem videos from the M2 drive

Use pathoma for path, obviously, but know that he does an excellent job in integrating micro, pharm, biochem etc.

For pharm, I'd highly recommend the 2010 kaplan videos done by Lionel Raymon and his biochem section as well. He's an amazing teacher and will help you understand difficult pharm subjects like autonomics and cardiovascular.
