Kaplan vs EK

Hi All,

I have review materials from both Kaplan and EK. I'm not sure where to start. Can anyone offer insight? I plan on taking the MCAT probably in April or sooner.

I have the huge Kaplan book with all the subjects and then I have the EK set of review books, and I have the EK 1001 series. I also have a Gold Standard book that I bought a few years back.

Is there a particular order I should use these books or should I mix and match? My MCAT diag was lowwwww. Not good at all. I've been out of chem for a while and couldn't remember any basic information so it seems.

Any advice from you successful MCATers would be very much appreciated!

i figured as much. Forgot to add that I also have Audio Osmosis.

why not use both? always start w/the aamc topic list, and build your own study guide using multiple sources for content.

the aamc topic list is huge, so getting through that is an accomplishment in itself. I never fully got through it before my 9/10 mcat.

I plan on using both! I just didn't know if there's a good way about using them. I guess I just better sit down and start studying!
