I am trying to figure out which study method to use. It seems that most people on here prefer using review books (brs path, brs phys, MMRS, FA, HY neuro, etc) to study for step1 than using kaplan. Is this true?

Perhaps. Seems like you won't find too many people on here that use Kaplan books/notes exclusively, or all books of the HY series only, etc.

Im using the kaplan set of 4 books along w/ Golgan audio/ RR.
The kaplan books sum things up good except path.

I know many people use other sources but I've had two friends use Kaplan and Goljan and score well on the exam. I'm using Kaplan b/c my school is paying for it.

your school pays for an entire brand new set of kaplan lecture notes?

thats awesome...

but..is kaplan enough for step1(for a good score)??

i am also confused about this... out of the handful of people i know who have done well, all have used the review book method. The few people I know who used kaplan, did mediocre, however, they were mediocre students. My friends that are the same year as me seem to be jumping on kaplan... i'm not so sure i want to do that..

using kaplan organ books(4) except for the micro - cmmrs, neuro - cnmrs, path-RR 2nd+audio, physio-brs physio + FA07

how good is cnmrs - neuro and cmmrs - micro? or should i stick to kaplan. its jus kaplan's micro and neuro seems too dry. thnx.
