hum... i know it is a simple question, but I can't decide which is better.. please advise~ THANK YOU~ =D

Where I'm from everyone takes Kaplan, they almost have a monopoly here. However, a friend and I took TPR for some reason. Out of the 10+ people I know who took Kaplan, I think the highest anyone scored was a 30 or 31, most in the high 20's. My friend and I both got 35's, which neither of us expected to get.

I think Kaplan's practice tests are too easy. TPR's tests, however, are too hard. So I recommend using the AAMC practice tests no matter which course you choose. I think TPR's workbook was most helpful. It was easy to carry around and practice anywhere, rather than having to be at a computer (i.e. Kaplan).

what do you guys think about the test prep books they have? not the classroom course but the test prep books you can by for like 60 bucks?

I like TPR one better, but i hate the cheap paper its printed on. The kaplan one is good too, i geuss they are each good in certain areas. I think tTPR is good for ochem, and kaplan for bio.

Any thoughts?

The TPR book available in bookstores is not too good (I read through it once). Even though it clearly explains what it contains, it's missing a lot of info or doesn't give certain topics fair treatment. If I were to buy a book from a bookstore, I would personally go with the Kaplan book (presuming EK wasn't available, but then again I purchased both).
