Hi yall,

I was wondering, how good is the KBB for the Bio section of the DAT? I've noticed that Alan's notes almost follow the KBB exactly so I've printed his notes out and am making additions to this notes from the KBB.

I also have Cliff's AP Bio, how should I incorporate that into my studying? Ideally I'd like to go through it and add more notes to Alan's notes but I think that would take too much time trying to line up his notes with the organization of Cliff's AP Bio. How did yall study Cliff's? What would be the best way to incorporate Cliff's into what I'm already doing? Thanks for yalls help!!

I used both KBB and Cliff's bio. I would read my 1 chapter of KBB and 1 chapter of Cliff's Bio. During the review process I used Dentalfloss's study program...so I would read X number of chapters during the "review" part and then I was reading 1 chapter of each (the KBB and Cliff's) while doing "practice problems" section everyday just to review, and to aslo look up info regarding questions that I missed.

worked pretty well for me. I scored a 23 in Bio on the DAT...for what it's worth.

wow congrats on the great score! I'm just going through each chapter in the KBB right now and taking pretty detailed notes. I've got a little more than a month and I'm hoping to finish Bio up next week. So to review, are you suggesting just read 1 chapter of Cliff's and KBB (different subject matter I would assume) while doing practice questions for Bio? Should I be doing the same with the other subjects? Read 1 chapter of Gen Chem, O. Chem, Bio and do practice problems?

I'm about a month and a half away from my test right now. I'm hoping to finish going through everything and get to the reviewing stage soon before I forget the Gen Chem and O. Chem I did earlier. I plan on spending at least 3-4 weeks on the Destroyer and CDP and do a couple Achiever tests the week before my DAT.

Also, on your breakdown, I saw your Kaplan practice test scores, made me feel SO much better. I'm getting destroyed right now on the gen chem and o. chem section tests.
