I have an interview with KCOM on 12/18 and am very excited about it! Does any one know the percent of applicants KCOM invites for interviews, and percentages of acceptances? Thanks 🙂

These statistics come from the most recent US News statistics, from the Fall 2008 admissions (so I guess that was 2 application cycles ago). These numbers are probably inaccurate now since I hear that the number of applicants this year has risen substantially. . . .

Total admissions data 3174 applied, 439 interviewed, 351 were accepted, 172 enrolled

In-state admissions data
208 applied, 65 interviewed, 55 were accepted, 34 enrolled

Out-of-state admissions data
2966 applied, 374 interviewed, 296 were accepted, 138 enrolled

Women's admissions data
1579 applied, 179 interviewed, 146 were accepted, 70 enrolled

Minority admissions data
758 applied, 70 interviewed, 56 were accepted, 28 enrolled

International admissions data 8 interviewed, 8 were accepted, 6 enrolled

What exactly does it mean that 351 students were accepted and 172 enrolled. Does that really indicate that half of the accepted applicants declined admittance, or does it include people that may be offered deferred enrollement?

Not that important, just curious

It's not really relevant, but yeah, probably means that half went somewhere else or something.
