My boyfriend is a third year in AZ. He likes it alot. All of the rotations except Internal medicine are preceptor based, so the experiences vary. Form my visits and talking to other students, everyone seems to be pleased.
    Hope that helps

you should skim over some of the KCOM threads. Though I am only a first year and have no personal experience, the 3rd and 4th years I've talked to say that the rotations are great (some of the very best for DO schools). That said, there are lots of differences among the regions available. some are hospital- based and some are preceptor based, depending on what region you choose.

there are other considerations too... such as that they actually get you out of kirksville <img border="0" alt="[Clappy]" title="" src="graemlins/clappy.gif" />
but you are split away from the majority of your classmates :( look at the threads to see what others say...
