KCU-COM vs AZCOM vs ACOM vs WVCOM

May be biased because I am going to KCU, but I would personally narrow it down to KCU and WVCOM. They’re both established, have proven high board scores, and the tuition is reasonable for the education you get. If you put a pros and con list for some of the schools we could help narrow it down! I would pick KCU though if you want someone to give an opinion with no info haha

kcu easily, the rest are either too new or too expensive

WVSOM and KCU I would consider to be the top 2 here based on the list alone. Do you have any pros or cons you noted while you attended the interview sessions at each institution?

Honestly, I enjoyed the interviews at each place. My potential specialty interests are derm, neuro, surgery and cardio and I am not interested in IM/FM/Peds/OBG.

I am leaning toward KC but not having the opportunity to pursue research is a concern (esp. considering my interests above). Will that limit my competitiveness for a residency in one of my interests?

AZCOM was nice but I really can't justify the cost difference.

ACOM is relatively new but seems to be a viable choice too.

WVCOM I have almost ruled out as I did not get a good vibe of Lewisburg.
