Look at the interview feedback section. While it is sort of old I found it to be accurate (I interviewed there nov of last year). If there are any red flags those will probably come up. The actual interview lasted about 20 mintues and it was Karla with a DPM prof. I actually found them and DMU to be the rougher ones (I only had a 2.9 so that obviously gave them ammo), but you will get through. The interview day as a whole was enjoyable. I liked the school, but it just did not see myself going there. Best of luck

Interview feedback for Kent is way too heavily weighted to the old OCPM interviews to be all that useful. Those were the days of interviews scheduled by regular mail and a phone call, interviews without an actual DPM present, a school with a name short enough to be said in one breath, and they still taught blood-letting in the pharm class (last one's a joke, obviously, but you get the idea). You'll have one interview with Carla and one of four DPMs who do the interviews. They're all pretty laid back and I personally think they do a good job of not adding more stress to a day already filled with lots of anxiety. Be prepared to answer why you want to be a DPM instead of MD/DO/whatever else and also, if you have any big blemishes on your record it's open file so be prepared to explain that. Doesn't have to be a crazy sob story or anything just know it's coming. The hardest question I had was "Why podiatry?" It's actually harder to answer than you think. Also, I'm sure this is somewhere on the interview feedback, but there is no longer the same day acceptance you'll read about in some of the older entries. That's been gone for about 2 years and even that was probably 10 years too late to get rid of it. Good luck!
