Hey all

I'm in physics II now and am taking the MCAT in April. The BR book isn't making much sense for the E&M chapters (8 and 9) without any prior experience. Do you all think Khan is a good way to learn the material prior to TBR?

Also, how heavily is E&M generally represented?

Thanks in advance.

I self taught myself that stuff because I was expecting to take mcat before finishing my physics. I used khan academy and princeton review physics.

Khan academy was immensely helpful as it gives you conceptual foundation. then you solve problems to build on it. Maybe it would be best if you solve some physics book questions before delving into mcat type questions.

As the above poster said, Khan is GREAT for getting the basic concepts down, but you'll definitely want to find a source of practice problems somewhere. Physics can't just be memorized, need to work it out yourself.

And so far, it seems like E&M is about 1 passage per practice test I've taken. So don't neglect it.
