Does anyone else out there feeling like kicking the mailbox when you go out there day after day and find nothing...NOTHING. My adrenaline skyrockets and dips faster than a rollercoaster . I swear, my mail carrier hates me : ). Good luck all.

Well for those of us who applied to Oregon State, it was the virtual mailbox that we were, uh.. clicking? My email program checks for new email every minute, and before I finally got my denial email, every time there was new email I'd just get all excited and hope that it was a decision letter! The fact that I subscribe to a number of forums didn't help, so I was experiencing this a lot of times throughout the day while I was at my computer.

In another thread you say that you got acceptances from UCSF, UF, and Purdue. I really don't see where the anguish is coming from. How about leaving that for the people who are still waiting for their first acceptance.

I am so sorry (really) if my anguish upset you. I was only expressing how I feel. Besides, I feel I am entitled to be stressed out as well. Like many other pre-pharmers (accepted or not at all schools), I worked two/three jobs while in school and I spent thousands of dollars applying ( of which I had to borrow most of it just to apply and interview)and am trying to find just the right school for me. As soon as I know, I can get off other school's lists freeing up space for our fellow students who may be on them. I sincerely hope you and all of us find that perfect match, and I understand how stressful this can be for any and all of us. Best of luck!
