I do think there's a chance that the mafia team viewed me as someone that they could target because of the very vengeance instincts that Pippy cited -- they'd perceive me to be impossible trust and want to take advantage. That calculus wouldn't include me being an absolute golden beacon of town beauty (pardon my modesty), and so this day 1 wouldn't be going as anticipated so far.

In that sense I wonder if Pippy TMI'd that perspective a bit. Still, this is a very speculative thing. I hesitate to take myself too seriously.

If I can get a reliable SDN town read on Zenge, then that'd help to sort quite a lot for me at least for the time being. If I take Zenge as town, then I also take PSV as town (via Zenge's read), and I would only need two more names for a game-locking POE. Obviously the reads would need to be correct, but it's a start anyway.

It's a valid way to play! I'm not sure how I feel about the way you've expressed your view, but keep doing your thing. It's a long day.

I don't think I've ever seen him highpost like this d1 as a wolf. Village!Zenge is often lurky but the engaged, jokey Zenge to my memory is not something he's replicated when furry.

Though I guess we're supposed to be refraining from meta reads lol

I hoped someone would capitalize on our back and forth because when we go at each other Day 1 we’re historically V/V and wolves would love to break Zenge and I up.
The fact no one did I don’t know how to feel

This is the problem that I always have with interpreting champs delegate interactions in these prep games. There's at least a little plot armor because the goal is for you both to get some good practice. You can't do that if you're immediately dead.

Village knows that, wolves know that, so no one (except perhaps your counterpart) is going to come at you super hard in the first 48 hours.

I'm also reading you both as pretty village anyways fwiw.
 
Also, allow me to add Moonster, why 😒 ?

Do I as wolf chime in, drop a vote and exclaim that it comes from a wolfy perspective?

I hope that wolves and villagers are willing to push us harder if we’re sketchy because we’re the delegates. If one of us is a wolf and doesn’t hit the thread hard and is suspect go at us even harder for it please. That’s how we get the good practice. Don’t let us skate by on being champ noms.

But also, I’ll take the plot armor to survive night 1. Double standard. :heckyeah:

Oh I'm not planning on letting you skate through the entire game, and I don't think anyone else would do that, either. But early D1 is not the whole game.

IDK, maybe you're doing a double WIFOM maneuver.

Well, allow me to continue to be wolfy.

As wolf I could simply be explaining data to generate discussion, thus making me appear townie.

As town I could be trying to become invested in a game on a forum that I'm not used through by random chance chaos.

What do you consider on either of these?
 
@samac in the interest of not going easy on you, can you elaborate on what you meant when you said you hoped people would "capitalize" on you intentionally playing to your village meta with Zenge?

There’s not a village meta of we’re village we fight, just that when we disagree on D1 it’s historically been village. I wasn’t thinking about that when I questioned him but when he came back asking me if I was furry I was like oooooh
If we’re both village per usual I hoped someone would see it as an opportunity to pile on one of us onto the other one to try and set up a misyeet. But no one did. And I don’t know if that makes zenge more wolfy like okay maybe I was onto something because his packmate wouldn’t join him or if they just left us alone hoping we’d eat each other. Does that make sense?

Samac is likely town, so that's nice. The entire discussion with Zenge is either a result of W/W Samac/MightyRunner OR which is more likely, a townie fear of an opportunistic push that I don't think a wolf attempts to exploit in this manner.

And I do find this odd. Why wouldn't it be wolfy? What do you, Town Zenge, get by presenting MightyRunner's pop in as simply odd without AI attachment?
