hm i thought you town read Moonster?
That's the fun of GTH reads. If one is honest, these kinds of conflicts may arise. I have some turbulence about moonster.

I literally wait to ensure I am not the first one to reply in my own game. I don't want to provide my own answers to people that follow, within reason.

I imagine as the game goes on I can take other players out of the Poe if either of them have to go in it no?
I’m not one to remove a bunch of people out of my Poe, not how I play. I more keep everyone as potentials and move them out as they get villagey. A 6 person Poe right now feels pretty fair for d1 with 3 wolves.
From a town perspective, a PoE is helping you choose where to place your one vote. Keeping it wide only enables wolves to move around on their false suspicions. Keeping your PoE thin and acknowledging 1-2 players may leave and simultaneously enter it based on actual flips results in town accuracy.

I will gather the data from this exercise and provide a visualization and any initial takes I draw from it. I will conserve my posts as I do so, because I am already over 100. Thanks to those who took part.

I use my POE differently than you do then and that’s okay, we can play differently.

JJJ and Zenge weren’t in the listed Poe gah

wolf
Wolf
Village
Village
Village

And I do realize 2 of those are incompatible.
I will address them later means they are still in PoE though does it not?

I think there's a big difference between, "I've seen nothing to put them in the PoE, so they are town for now" and "will address later, no read provided until then, but I'll address their PoE status later".

I find this...interesting. Say more pls.
Zenges knows his wolf vs village meta.
He knows his wolf self lurks and holds his vote.
So what would the champ nom do in the champ practice game? Change it up.
I don’t like the consensus town stamp we’ve put on him yet and I think it’s somewhat dangerous and scary so many people have put that stamp on him already.

This is also why I reserve reading him until day 2 I may completely change my mind tomorrow.

I just don’t tend to throw people town unless proven otherwise because it bites me in the ass and I’m hard headed and hard to come out of that mindset later. I like my null.

Fair enough, and I'll take your gth as reads and compare them to your PoE and see how I feel.

the rule of thumb in champs games is that if the consensus town reads are kept alive and the yeets keep being misyeet, there are about 2 wolves inside the consensus town (depending on how big the group is, ofc).

I have juried twice and played a few rounds, as a player it is hard to see it because you're so into the game. But as an outsider observing it all, it becomes an obvious trainwreck.

I am abusing the fact that I am an outsider and I am trying my best not to establish anything social so I don't get pocketed, and have observed which players will most likely fall into the consensus town list. It is too early to disrupt that list now. It is however pro town to pressure scum with strong town reads because that will affect their NK choice tbh

His wolf self actually votes earlier, historically. It's village Zenge that has the late voting meta. Of course he has known about that for a while but that was the original "tell".

The rest is...idk, a lot of WIFOM. Like sure he could do that, or try to, though I think the tone would be difficult to pull off consistently. I think for a d1 read it's enough to say that he hasn't done that before though, despite knowing for a long time that wolf!Zenge is more reserved.

Interesting take though. Kinda spicy.

I also thought he felt funny day 1 last game and said I refused to read him until day 2 and he was a big ol’ villager so

that's some very sus hallway lurking there

Yeah I'm not unaware of your usual discomfort about him d1. Kinda nodded along when you brought up that it tends to happen in both directions when you're v/v.

this is pretty good to know because a part of my town read on Zenge is because he voted Pippy first tbh

I wouldn't take the voting meta to mean anything at this stage. It was pointed out over a year ago now. He's messed with it intentionally, he's broken it as both affiliations. It's a meme at this point lol

That’s not related to voting meta though.

His reasoning is wolves like to wait and see as opposed to jumping in and getting their hands dirty first

Yes, I'm saying that the fact that you (used to) vote earlier as a wolf than you did as village doesn't mean that his reasoning doesn't apply to you.

There's gotta be at least 1 in the three who have wagons and then a wolf partner in a counter wagon yes?
