Hey all..........I'm a senior at the University of Kansas, and I'd like to see where other KU students have applied/accepted/rejected.

Here's my scoop thus far

Of the 8 schools I applied to I have heard back from 4 schools...

-2 of them for interviews
*just got done with my KU one, and I will go to NYU onDec 5.

-1 hold for an interview
*at UCSF....i was surprised to even get a secondary.

-1 rejection
*from Mayo, preinterview

The other schools I'm awaiting response are AECOM, UPENN, Harvard and WashU.

Good luck to you all......ROCK CHALK!!!!!!!!!

Hey Felipe, did you take BIO150 about two years ago and have a lab TA named Tracy?

Felipe:

I went to KU undergrad class of 2001.

I applied to about 10 schools, interview offers at four so far:
University of Washington (interview 11/20)
St. Louis University
University of Iowa
University of Kansas (10/21)

Still waiting to hear from other schools

why yes I did......where you in that class as well? What have you been up to?

Hey Gick,

Did you have a good interview experience at KU? Mine was extremely laid-back........even though the presentations where kinda rushed. Good luck with your interviews!

I was the other TA for that class. Good luck on your interviews. In my experience most of the interviews are pretty laid back (with the rare exception). I am in the MD/PhD program at Emory now.

Yes, I had a very laid-back interview experience. A lot of waiting around, though. I was really impressed with how much the students seemed to really like their school. I definitely left with a much better opinion of the program than when I walked in the door.

Hey Buddy!

Surprised to hear from you! Weren't you interested in being a marine biologist? Great to hear that you're doing well. Congrats on being at Emory......how far along are you on your track towards the dual degree? Have you started your PhD work, or are you still finishing up the second year? I'd love to hear what you're field your interested in pursuing.
