What in the world??????? I got low 30s and an L..... I was sure I got at least average....I mean I followed all the rules....and according to Kaplans method I should have gotten at least a 4 on each writing sample....!?
how does that add to an L???
Any advice?

yeah, and don't forget, they'll have your personal statement as a sample of your writing as well. so i wouldn't worry about it. no one can read doctors' handwriting anyways, so what does it matter if we write well or not? kidding...kinda...

I guess you shouldn't feel too badly, similar thing happened to me on this past MCAT.(Took Kaplan, wrote essays that were blatantly following the rules and got a low score while doing well on everything else. Yes, I was expecting O or P given how solid of a 4 I was writing and especially after seeing some of the garbage Kaplan said was a 3 or a 4.) What I'm probably going to do is go see my premed advisor and see if she tells me anything new, you should probably do the same. Mostly I want to know how to handle it if it comes up in an interview.(Since I doubt many med-schools would be truely interested in what I honestly think of this. That is of course aamc should make sure the graders don't huff solvent before, during, and after grading essays. Nope, Dave isn't bitter 😀
