I signed up for BIOL I at a 4 year University. The lab classes are closed already. Can I take the lab at an other 4 year? Is it recommended or no? Or just wait for next sem to take the lab at the same school where I'm doing theory?

Please advise. thank you

I don't think it will be a problem. At my school, there is little correlation between the labs and lecture courses - lots of people take say the organic lab during a different term from the lecture - and I haven't noticed any attempt to "connect" the lab and lecture materials at all...I don't think taking it at another school would be a problem, either...

Well, some schools say 'Biology with lab', now I am not sure how strict they are in their wording.

Well, at some schools, the lab and lecture are together (one course with one grade). But I would think at schools with a separate and unique course number for the lab, it would be kosher to take it anytime if not anyplace that offers a standalone lab...probably not ideal to take it at different schools, but I can't believe it would matter to med schools if that happens.

OP should probably address this question to some of the med schools he is interested in...all we can do is speculate.

You can, and you have a very legitimate reason for doing so if any questions are asked.

Labs are usually "somewhat" connected. If you are going to take it at another school, make sure the med schools are okay with this, and make sure the material covered is equivalent. Not every school teaches BIO in the same sequence. For example, if BIO 101 starts with molecular bio at your school, make sure the lab covers the same material. A good lab class will help you learn the material, so make sure you are not sacrificing any learning. Maybe you can just try to add the lab during your school's drop/add period. Talk to the lab coordinator.

At my school, as I said before, people take the labs during different terms, or during the summer sessions, all the time. Yes, the lab is "somewhat" connected to the lecture, but only because of the common subject matter - the labs are not tied to the lecture lesson plan - the labs are "standalone" classes - I have noticed no effort to coordinate lecture and lab materials (and I still find that peculiar - it seems like they should be more connected, but there you go...).

Of course the OP should direct this question to some med schools to see if it matters.
