hey y'all i am a sophomore and i am taking o chem, soph. bio, and physics so that i can take the mcat at the end of next summer and have all summer to study and have PLENTY of time to get the results back and apply early to med schools

I am also working 20+ hours a week and doing my ec's, so i was just going to take o chem and physics labs next year because i believe they are an epic waste of time, so i just wondering what you guys think it is important to take labs with lecture or you think im S😎LID

From my experience, physics lab and lecture can be taken completely separately. Neither enhanced the other.

I thought that orgo lecture was helpful for the lab but not necessary. There was one person in my lab who had taken the lecture previously who struggled a little more, but not too much. Orgo was one of the few labs that matched the material in lecture and really made sense. In my experience, it was nice to take them together, but definitely not necessary.

It depends on your school and how they teach the classes. Ask people you know and see what they think.
