Hello, My wife will be traveling to Europe by May. She will be spending 1 month, but most of the time she will be in Paris. I wonder what can you recommend for a comfortable shoes specifically flat? She is gonna break in the shoes as soon as I buy one. For price, I'm willing to spend until 150 usd. For style, She would like ex. teva niyama flat (not necessarily that brand, I actually don't know if teva is comfortable), something similar to that style. Suggestions will be highly appreciated.

Aerosoles. Around the $100-$200 range, very good foot support inside for most styles.

If your wife needs some dressier-style shoes (e.g., for Paris evenings), she might look at some Cole Haan flat shoes, with a very slightly elevated heel.

For casual wear or walkabouts, your wife can look at gym shoes/sneakers. She can buy them in a solid black color so the shoes don't appear to be gym shoes.

She should wear shoes that provide adequate foot support - especially if she plans to do a lot of walking in Paris. For extra comfort, I have inserted store-bought orthotic insoles into my shoes/sneakers to provide extra cushy support and comfort for my feet. They have provided me with lots of welcome relief.

Hope she has a wonderful time in Paris!

Allbirds. Light, comfy, the all-black ones can be worn with nicer outfits without standing out, and they're washable. And you can run in them if you want!

Tip: they don't do half sizes, so they say to buy up if you're in between. Don't do that. Go smaller...they stretch a little bit so you can get away with it.
