Good evening everyone. Like someone else posted in a thread earlier, I'm having a problem getting my pre-med committee to submit their LoR for my secondary applications. I understand full well that I'm in late territory (maybe even "you're late, try again next year" territory), but I just want to be realistic about things so I can plan Plans B, C, etc. just in case med school doesn't work out this cycle. What kind of damage will an LoR this late be to my overall chances?

Some info about me: 3.97 cGPA, 4.00 sGPA, 36R on MCATs on best administration (12 PS, 11 VR, 13 BS). Have moderate research and volunteer experience.

I'm not trying to be paranoid, I just want to be fully realistic about things. Thanks.

Since your stats are really good, if you have the usual and customary ECs, decent PS and essays, provided you applied broadly and not just to highly selective schools, at this point in the cycle, the impact of "lateness" on your overall chances still isn't that great. How long will it be before the committee letter is ready?

I talked to the committee a few hours ago and mentioned the letter was completed, it just needed to be uploaded.

Yeah, I did try to apply as broad as possible, since nothing is a constant in med school admissions. I do have a few more secondaries to do, as I do run a busy life right now, though I have a decent number out there (13) and done to get me by. With my stats, when am I beginning to push it to the extreme? I'm guessing by the time deadlines approach, but again, nothing is constant in this hectic process. Thank you for the help.
