I just started dental school and I was curious about the NBDE part 1. I heard that it is going to be electronic. My school has it structured that we take the boards after year two, even though we have all of the classes for the boards in year one. Could I just go ahead and take the boards this summer by myself? If I dont do as well as i hoped can i just take it the next year with the rest of my class the following summer, and just submit that (hopefully) better score?? Can you retake sections and just send the better score??
